The WAMTA workshop is scheduled for Feb 16-18, 2026, and will be held at the research campus of Garching near Munich, Germany at the Max Planck Computing and Data Facility and the Max Planck Institute of Plasmaphysics.

The Research Campus Garching is located close to the Munich Airport MUC.

From MUC airport to the Research Campus Garching

Taxi: Travel to and from the airport to the Research Campus Garching takes 15-30 minutes by taxi, depending on traffic. You can find taxi ranks in the departure and arrival areas of Terminal 1 and 2. Costs for a taxi ride are about 30-50 €.

Public transportation: From the airport you have two suburban-train (“S-Bahn”) options, S1 or S8 with one change from train to a regional bus. The transfer takes about 40 minutes.
